Boskalis signs Fall Pipe vessel contract
Vuyk Engineering Rotterdam (VER) is currently working on the basic design of a new fall pipe vessel for Royal Boskalis Westminster N.V.
After succesfull development of a concept design in close cooperation with Boskalis, VER is now working on the basic design. The new Fall Pipe vessel will have an overall length of 159 meters.
Boskalis recently anounced that they signed a contract with Singapore based Keppel Singmarine Pte Ltd for the construction and completion of this vessel. The vessel is expected to be completed late 2011 and will be deployed in oil and gas offshore projects.
